Youth Program
Our youth program offers a supportive and engaging experience for individuals aged 10 to 15. We provide flexible scheduling options, including 2, 3, or 5 days a week, with extended childcare hours from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The youth environment is carefully designed to meet the needs of our participants, providing a peaceful and secure space where they can develop important life skills, explore their interests, and engage in activities that foster personal growth.
We also consider parental involvement to be a vital part of our approach, as we believe that fostering a supportive community is essential for youth development.
Primary Program
Our primary program is designed for youth aged 10 to 15. We offer both half-day (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and full-day (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) options, with extended childcare hours available. For youth attending full days, breaks and opportunities for rest are provided to ensure a balanced day.
In our primary classroom, youth ages 10 to 15 learn together, fostering a sense of community and mentorship. The atmosphere is one of exploration and joy, where older youth guide and support younger peers. Youth develop self-discipline, self-directed learning skills, and respect for others as they work at their own pace and level.
For youth aged 15, we offer an Extended Day Program that focuses on academic challenges, abstract material, and advanced social and emotional skills.
Our Extended Day Program encourages youth to explore their curiosity and engage in self-directed activities, fostering independence, responsibility, and leadership skills.
Summer Program
Our Ellenwood Youth Camp offers a Ellenwood-inspired summer experience, blending Ellenwood education with outdoor activities in a relaxed environment. The camp is available to youth enrolled in our upcoming school year.
For our youth campers (ages 10 to 15), the program includes a variety of engaging activities, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, music, movement, games, and sports. We emphasize outdoor play, connecting with nature, and enjoying the summer sun.
All Day Ellenwood – Childcare
We offer "All Day Youth Care" for our students before and after school from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding school holidays and breaks. Your youth will benefit from continuous engagement with trained mentors and a nurturing environment, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience throughout the day.
